Playstation Ghost of Tsushima

Been playing it since Friday. The island is pretty nice and the scenery is different than anything on Tsushima and there's completely new animals. The island size is about half of what the first region is in the main game but there's a lot to do in it and the enemies are tougher. I've unlocked two legendary equipments so far.

Is the new stuff free or do you have to buy a new version of the game?

Ah, so it’s an upgrade. I’ll grab it later tonight. I finally finished the Hitman trilogy. Wanted to try and get to Valhalla again soon. This might be a nice distraction from that and Alien Fireteam.

The hard drive of my ps4 fucked up and I lost all my saved data including everything from this game, it's the only game I'm willing to play all over again and I might

That shit sucks. I use externals and that’s always a worry for me. I usually unplug mine after turning my systems off. I don’t with the PS4, because it’s harder to get to. I also don’t have as many ps4 games as I do on the Xbox One X.

Yeah, I need to learn my lesson about backing up hard drives. The good thing is that the games I play the most save data on servers so nothing important was lost

There's a lot to do in the DLC. I've mostly just did the side missions and I really haven't tangled with the main threat of the new island at all.

I’m going to play through Aliens Fireteam and then give this new stuff a try. I’ve been on a Viking kick lately and so, I really need to finish Valhalla.

The good thing about the new Alien game is it seems to be relatively short. I won’t have to spend two straight weeks trying to get through one playthrough. That’s usually a bad thing, but I’m just so tired of overly long games.

I completed everything and got all the trophies for the DLC, I just need to get one more piece of clothing and it's done. I'm going to probably do the new game plus with all this extra stuff next week as I never even finished that mode so I might as well start over.

Overall the DLC was great. It's short but the overall plot adds a lot of backstory that wasn't shown in the main game. It's mostly about Jin's father.

There's not too many good vanity pieces to use for Jin, but you're able to unlock some of the online skins for story mode. I was expecting more sword skins but there's a little less than ten and most aren't great.

You can travel to the highest point in on the island at a mountain peak and you can see all of southern Tsushima in the distance, and opposite of that I'm assuming is mainland Japan.

Here’s hoping the next one takes place in mainland Japan. Ghosts of Japan would be a fitting title.

It's only natural for it to go there. I wonder if we would play as Jin again or someone else.

I could see him leaving for Japan and starting his own Ghost school or trying to take out the Shogun since he was supposed to be executed.

I think it will be many years down the road. Jin will either be entirely dead or an elderly man. We will most likely play as his offspring. There is talk about it being a female lead this time. Which would be kind of meh, but whatever.

Oh God, fuck the female lead in anything ever again. Are they going to try and stick a dirty tank top on her in the 13th century?
