Are people actually playing it correctly? From what I've seen recently people just chase each other around.
And on PC you have tons of hackers and cheaters.
At least you can spot them quick enough and leave the lobby.
7 out of 10 games are usually free of them, since they travel in packs.
Anyway, I love the game for what it is.
It's a shame that F13 lawsuit forced original devs to abandon it.

It looks fun. Did they patch out all the cheating bugs? I remember seeing people hide in places Jason can't get to.
Roof glitch was patched this summer, it's kinda funny to see people still try it and get killed.
Environmental kills are not patched still, tho in most cases you just have to stand still in the right position to avoid getting glitched.
Car glitches are not patched and I hate it with a passion...
Bed glitch isn't patched but is rarely used these days.

Why people can’t play games as intended is beyond me. What’s funny is seeing people doing things that aren’t exploits, but are not meant to be done during normal play, especially in online modes.
Very few people actually play a role when they’re gaming. All I ever see is drop shotting idiots in multiplayer and full on sprinters in RPG game clips. Like come on guys—don’t be plebs.

While I agree with that sentiment, I've done the same thing in a couple games. Although doing that all the time just kills the game.
With the latest PC patch people can host their own lobbies now. So you can avoid hacked servers. Plus Steam's Halloween sale brought in a lot of new blood. Been playing for a week and had fun.
Still, new players don't know the situation so they get into a hacked server and stay there, so in-game levels are now completely worthless cuz newbs can get max lvl in one hacked session.
