I got my manga Bulma. I actually think she's one of the better repaints and I like it better than the regular version.

I never really cared for the purple haired Bulma. It’s not the one I grew up watching, so the figures are nothing I have to have. And the Figuarts is too expensive of a figure to justify adding to the collection, for me personally. As is Anime Colors Nappa—why the goddamn hell was that not what they went with initially?
Anyway, I think Bulma in the anime adds something unique to the dynamic of the Vegeta, Bulma and Trunks family arc. Trunks just being a straight copy of his mother’s hair is boring as fuck, just as Goten having Goku’s exact hair is boring, by himself, without Gohan to compliment it.
Speaking of which, I always liked that Gohan was different. His hair always changed. To me, Trunks having the purple hair offsets the black hair of his father and the green hair of his mother. The two combined colors don’t make purple on the color wheel, but I know genetics can be a funky thing and it’s all anime nonsense anyway.

People that are defending the PBandai nonsense need to be tossed off a cliff for being a pack of imbeciles. You’re too stupid to realize that Bandai is cutting out the middleman and making FULL retail profit (in some cases more than that), while sending us to the dry-cleaners with shipping cost.
We are getting no discount for buying direct from the manufacturing company. We are actually getting screwed over in the long run, because the middleman still wants to sell these figures and so they toss their hat in the ring and inflate the prices to turn a profit. Thusly, Bandai is effectively killing the second market value of these figures before they’ve even finished production. These will be $500 and $600 figures in just a handful of years. Watch.
You think the Androids being $140 to $170 was bad? Wait until you try to track down some of these PBandai figures in five years and they’re sitting at goddamn $550 with $20 shipping.

If it’s figures you’ve already reviewed, just do the unboxing and a little overview of each figure? Not really worth doing a full on review, unless you’re doing them all at once and not in separate videos? And I would try to cut down each section to maybe five minutes at most.
Friday night I'm going to unbox the four exclusives. I'm still dealing with Covid so I don't have it in me to do reviews.

I got my Goku today, but I’m at work. From everything I’ve seen, he’s really not that impressive. The headsculpt is a nice compliment to the original figure, but the color of the Gi on the new figure is just too damn orange.
I won't open them until Friday but Beerus is the nicest one. Whis looks almost no different and Nappa looks like the same fucking thing I already got.

I finally watched some snippets of several reviews. The biggest improvement seems to be with Whis and the shading, Nappa and his colors and Goku’s hair. Outside of that, there is literally no reason to own these again, unless you needed a second one.
And having now gotten a closer look at the new SSG Goku… yep, not liking it as much as I was hoping. The original is far better.

This is pretty cool! Not sure about the price. They could have kept out the light-up features. Or made a version without them.

They’re doing another Fourth Form Frieza. Same mold. Just has a new pale blue color scheme (which isn’t accurate at all—he’s definitely more white and is featured as such many, many times) and better wrist and ankle articulation.
As if anyone actually gave enough of a fuck about that to warrant an updated figure. It was fine the way it was. I mean, at least update the hips and the shoulder joints and that oddly shaped side portrait. He looks like a squished water balloon.
Speaking of the headsculpts… I guess he has some new ones? I honestly don’t even care enough to find out which ones are new. Hell, I don’t even care enough to go about posting pictures of the thing.

Oh, he comes with one of the illuminated Namekian Dragon Balls. So, you’ll have to get him… if you want to complete that set. Luckily, I don’t give two shits about that.

Yep. They’re just in milking mode at this point. I really wish they’d go back to one or two event exclusives and one Dragon Ball figure a month and stop releasing figures just to release them. No one wants this “updated Frieza.”
