They’re going to find that rebooting the DCEU, when a lot of people were finally starting to warm up to it, was a big mistake.

Say what you will, but the Snyder Cut of Justice League was actually really fucking good, as was Man of Steel. The Extended Cut of BvS was actually really good. Even the extended cut of Suicide Squad (the first film) was fairly decent, in comparison to the theatrical release. Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad 2 were fairly good. Wonder Woman 1984 and Birds of Prey were awful though. And the theatrical versions of the other films were meh.

Warner Bros has no idea what they’re doing. They just built up all this hype to have Superman fight one of the strongest opponents and then just let it go to waste. Not only that, but yes… Henry Cavill IS Superman. More so than even Christopher Reeve was. Call it blasphemous if you like. The dude puts asses in the seats.

Also, not a goddamn person can sit and tell me that Ben’s Batman wasn’t top tier in BvS. Period. He took a shit on nearly everything that came before him. Although, Batman Begins is still the best portrayal of Batman to date. That’s hard to beat. Ben’s Bruce Wayne needed a bit of work, but his Batman was as close as you can get to having a comic version of Batman on screen. And Zach really knows how to film fight scenes, so that helped. I love the Nolan films, but my god, Batman Begins was the only one with partially visible fight scenes that were even half decent.

I’m not holding my breath for any of the James Gunn shit. In fact, I’ve really just lost interest entirely at this point. I’ve shifted away from Superhero stuff, due to the oversaturation of it and the mishandling of the Warner Brothers properties—and not least of all, because Marvel keeps shoveling agendas down everyone’s throats.

I’ll stick to Star Wars and Dragon Ball. I’m kinda getting back into TMNT as well, but we’ll see how long that lasts.

Snyder Cut was better definitely and MOS is better after repeated viewings. That said they're still not great. Although he's great as Superman. I still put Reeve over him obviously but just when I finally dug him, they cut him because he "grew out of the role."

Who the fuck wants baby faced Superman all the time? He looks cool as shit in his cameo in Black Adumb.

Alex Ross Superman is cool because he looks like he's middle aged. It makes him so much more interesting to look at. He's seasoned and he's stronger as that than he was when he started.

Superman does get stronger the older her gets. Same with Thor and the TMNT. Young Superman has been done to death. We’re sick of it. We’re also just sick of reboots. What we had was still, mostly, working. It had a diehard fanbase and just needed someone to come in and guide the direction interconnectivity of all the films, like how whaat Jon Favreau did for the MCU with the Infinity Saga. Granted, some of that was also collaborated with Kevin Fiege’s help.

This genre is finished. And I'm mostly glad. The Flash I saw was projected to miss out on 200 million. No one cares about that child predator and old Keaton. I like how he gets caught trying to fuck a kid and seemingly comes out with no repercussions.

Remember how Batgirl got axed around the same time of Ezra's BS? Don't get me wrong, I had a feeling that film would be problematic but it's still insane.

Cavill is so big now that I'm pretty sure he helps get appeal for anything he isn't even in a starring or major role like the Enola Holmes films. Also almost facts that his axing from Witcher will cripple viewership.

Shame about old Keaton tbh. In terms of the other DCEU actors, they're gonna have a hard time with a successor to Gal Godot as Wonder Woman because she still is hugely popular.

Cavill is supposed to be starring in a Warhammer film. I've vaguely familiar with it but I'm definitely interested in it. I didn't bother watching Witcher since they race swapped some characters and I don't have time for that pandering bullshit.

I did think he was cool as Geralt the little I saw.

The race swapping of the ginger seems to be a Hollywood trend and it hit Triss right in the mouth. It’s getting old and lazy at this point to take a mixed race or black actor and put them in the place of a redhead. At this point it’s just racist.

And yes, Witcher season 4 will take a nosedive. After Witcher season 3 and the Old Guard sequel, I won’t have any reason to watch Netflix again, to be quite honest.
