Catherine Full Body vs. Catherine Classic vs. Catherine Differences
Full Body is a re-edition of the original Catherine, with additional contents. The most significant difference is the presence of Rin – a third Catherine – but there are also other differences:

  • Twice of the stage amount of the original game (and even a Rapunzel mini-game)
  • More than 20 new scenes (and also new spicy scenes)
  • New endings: for Rin but also Catherine and Katherine
  • A multiplayer component featuring online PvP battles
  • New patrons to talk at the Stray Sheep
  • New levels of difficulty: a safety mode and an auto play mode
  • A new game mode (arrange mode) with a new mechanism that let you move multiple blocks at the same time when they are connected
  • Some of the effects of the items have been modified
  • Players can now rotate the camera and see behind the stage
  • When Vincent is in an emergency, Rin’s piano will be activated, and the stage won’t collapse
  • Babel and Colosseum now support online play. They also don’t need to be unlocked anymore
  • Vincent can view strategies that sheep have told him at save points.
Well well, well, it looks like the most based game ever remains mostly untouched. I was wondering if the essence of this game was going to be ruined by censorship. It looks like it wasn't.

-What got censored?
-Erica, titties, conversations (You can no longer tell Catherine to fuck off over text)
And overall added more clothes than before

-Apparently the only thing that was censored/changed was having "Erica" in the credits instead of "Eric".
So the game is fortunately exactly the same as it was when it was initially released in Japan.
Thank god Atlus didn't listen to those f*ggots at TranyEra and Twitter.
-Nice cope fatlus still not buying youe censored garbage

- i can't believe you make me link garbage but here goes:
nothign was changed appart from a minor change in the CREDITS that changed the name of the character from "eric" to "erica"
you can also at your own peril visit the resetera thread and see for yourselves the tr*nnies and f*ggots complaining and confirming that nothing changed

Onto how the localization team massaged the rest of the game’s script, they changed one optional side conversation with Erica and now no longer credit her in the credits as “Eric.” That’s most of what they changed. That cringe-worthy exchange in the True Katherine ending from the original game where Toby complains about sleeping with her, deadnames her, and outs her as a punchline? Yup, that’s still in there untouched. The new ending where Catherine goes back in time and lets her and Vincent meet under different circumstances that has Erica untransitioned? Yup, that’s still in there, with people saying her deadname (only name at the time, in fairness,) multiple times, while the voice actress for the character tries to do a more masculine voice. It’s honestly just upsetting to see in a game at all, let alone an English language $60 PS4 game from a sizable publisher in 2019.

The original game already caused a bit of a shitstorm back in the day, now this since this version was first announced I knew people in the west would complain about it to no end. And with the reviews coming out, written by the usual suspects, it's clear this game will sting to some of the more delicate snowflakes

Despite its attempts to grapple with questions of gender head-on, some of Catherine’s more sexist and gender essentialist ideas are still given far too much breathing room in Full Body, and the way Vincent is positioned as a white knight for Rin feels gross. Qatherine’s presence genuinely changes the tack and tone of the game, making its pacing feel even more hectic and capturing the deep anxiety and constant juggling that happens when someone cheats on a partner. But while Rin adds a new dimension to the game, it’s still a parade of pulpy gender tropes. New endings try to make the game’s female characters more full people, but Full Body never really escapes Catherine’s flat understanding of gender, love, and lust.

Nothing about this game is genuinely hurtful or offensive, though for today's standards it may as well be like showering in acid for some people. It's described as transphobic, sexist, probably misogynist and I'm sure there's other kinds of -phobic and -ist those people are using it to describe it.

Translation: This game shows human behaviour without shame or fear. It is unapologetic and brutally honest and that hurts many feels.

I’m tired of this culture we live in. Everyone is offended by everything. Grow. Thicker. Skin. You fuckwads.

Did humility die after Y2K? Or was it in 2012?

I played the original game. There was absolutely nothing offensive in it. Jesus Christ, I don’t think anything, in any game I’ve played, has ever even offended me. At all.

I'm just not offended by fantasy, ever, especially a game. All these "problems" the game has are all nonsense as always. The game itself is super fun and I can't wait to play this new version.

Which route did you take when you first played it? Catherine or Katherine?
