Only watched this movie recently. Almost turned it off half way through but somehow forced myself to watch it to the end. Not just a bad Marvel movie but a bad movie in general. I'm surprised (and not surprised) by how much love it's getting throughout the World.

How come the next marvel phase revealed at comic con did not have a single mention of captain marvel or the sequel announced in the next 3 years

I didn't see Black Panther 2 mentioned either but you know that's happening sometime.

I do have a feeling Marvel is regretting going all in with Bree Larson as their leading female. I wouldn't be shocked if they somehow undid Black Widow's death and shifted their focus back to Johansson.

There will likely be more Captain Marvel but dailed way back from whatever was planned.

Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2 and GotG 3 are all in early development. But yes there is something off with phase 4, it looks like a small transition, I don't know why. But maybe they're just sacrificing their original plans just for the sake of their stupid streaming service.
