I was hoping it was going to update early but it sorta did. I have to pick it up at work which cost $6 to have it held at a store. UPS started doing that I guess where as Fedex is free. I've read there's quite a bit of QC issues so fuck, I hope that's not the case. Although TZ never gave me an issue in the past to honor warranties.
With Threezero, you get a warranty slip you need to file out and take a pic of to send to them along with a screenshot of your order from the retailer. I got that done so I sent it to the email they give you when you're done with that. I haven't needed a replacement since I bought their Skull Knight like 5 years ago.
I hope they don't tell me to send the cape back. Just send me a new one and let me avoid the fucking headache.
Someone mentioned on Sideshow that they're sending theirs back and I could get the cape from that. I don't mind waiting long, but I don't want to stitch this shit myself. I can't believe TZ blew me off.
Yeah, it's actually easier to just get basic skills and fix stuff yourself than hope and wait for replacements. I mean, I'd love to get proper service every time something's wrong but sadly that's just unrealistic.
FINALLY got my fucking cape after three months of owning the figure. All is fine now. I was worried it wasn't the right cape and it was the clean version from the normal Guts and not the weathered, but it is weathered on the bottom like the shit cape I already have.
The bloody guts is pretty good. I had to do some maintenance heating to his helmet ears as they were slightly warped out the box, but the regular was the same too. Holy shit do TZ figures smell like paint. I only had it out of the box like an hour when I was trying to set it up and put it back and it didn't lose any potency between then and now.
