Great film, but over the years I think I like Alien a bit more. Maybe it's the horror guy in me.

I'm in the same boat with T1 and T2 as well - I find the sequel to be a bigger, better overall film but the original is a better "Terminator" film for me.

I definitely prefer Alien over Aliens. Terminator 2 is just a much better film as a whole though. I honestly hardly ever watch the first Terminator. Although, I’ve seen it more times than anything that came after T2.

They are different movies. Horror vs Action. Same with T1 and T2. A coin flip for some.

It's not fair to compare Terminator 2 to Aliens.
T2 was written and filmed by the same people, with the same crew working on FX.
ALIENS was not a true sequel by any means, even tho it's a great blockbuster.
