Totally agreed, but I don't think there's anything wrong with WANTING to do it cause you love the game and it's not too intrusive. My coworkers do that and they're completely fine but they're very selective. I used to care in high school, mostly to annoy my friends lol.Yeah, anyone who legitimately plays games to get the trophies today is a tool. Sorry, but if a little digital badge telling you and others that you did something in a videogame is important in today’s world… holy fuck.
I couldn’t give two flying womp rat shits about impressing anyone with my trophy or achievement list anymore—what is this, 2008? It’s cool to get them in the moment, I guess. But then I never acknowledge the fucking shit again.
I'm gonna wait for a huge price drop to consider it. I totally am not surprised by the Konami and Kojimbo (I'm stealing that LMAO) shit. People need to get over it. It literally doesn't matter anymore. After watching more streams on it, MGS1 runs fine. I think most people are accidentally selecting the shitty PAL version.
Also, MGS3 is clearly noticebly faster than the HD col. Survival Viewer boots in immediately. Codec is slower but a bit faster than vanilla. And there's no dip in frame rate with The Fury or Groznjy Grad. I might just buy it now.
All the hysteria around it seems to be from retards still shitting blood over Konami firing Kojimbo. There was never going to be a circumstance where everyone was going to be happy with a rerelease but now they're outright just making shit up to hate on it.
It’s one thing if you’re bored and just want to try and get them at your leisure, but the people that live to 100% a game and then sell it or shelve it… I just don’t understand it.Totally agreed, but I don't think there's anything wrong with WANTING to do it cause you love the game and it's not too intrusive. The saddest thing, I'm not surprised with how much gaming matters to people in ways like this. Some people truly have nothing in their lives worth meaning.
Unless you're literally getting paid to do that like via streaming but still selling it?It’s one thing if you’re bored and just want to try and get them at your leisure, but the people that live to 100% a game and then sell it or shelve it… I just don’t understand it.
