I think you're onto something, language is being severely policed on one end, and completely deconstructed/twisted on the other. We're being compelled to shape our perception of reality through a narrow spectrum of the politically correct, while at the same time removing meaning from words, and all of it through language.I wonder if I'll feel the same way about MGSV down the line? Yes it's clearly unfinished, but I think I get where Kojima was going with the idea of control of language equating to control in general. We seem to be hurtling headfirst into some hideous globalised McMonoculture that tacitly demands everyone speak English. After reading about Sapir-Worfianism recently, I have to wonder just how badly that's going to affect the world.
I've been flirting with the Riobot Sahelanthropus for a while now, and I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger, anyone here has it that cares to share his opinions? Maybe spam some pics?

This along with the fact that we're living in a post-fact world, we can't really fact-check anything ourselves, we have to believe what's presented to us in the usual channels (TV, movies, social networks, """science""" ), even though we have this constant nagging feeling that s*** doesn't add up. Which is pretty much the entire atmosphere and theme of MGSV, of course all of this comes from 1984 at heart.
This along with the perpetual war in the middle east (MGS4) that is pretty much literally a proxy war for Is - ra - el.
Man, Kojima might not be the best game dev out there anymore (he probably is tho, just way too artsy), but he sure is the most pilled one.
For some reason the design is calling out to me, I really like it, and it went on sale for like $150 when it came out cause nobody wanted itI challenge that. Given he's claiming DS was based on Trump and Brexit... but the development started in 2015... and Trump and Brexit was the very end of 2016. It just shows that he was completely aimless for a year. No wonder his team reacted negatively to the first gameplay of the game.
As for the Sahelanthropus, I don't know much about it but it looks nice. I have the RIobot Anubis and Jehuty are pretty nice, but I would never pay what they want for this thing for such a small figure.

I think nowadays it's back to retail price even on the secondary market, I don't think it's too expensive, it's good engineering after all, or at least that's what they say about Sentinel.
Did he really say DS was based on Brexit? :ROTFLMAO: that makes no sense.
